The Chipper Orange Shoe

I like books, mostly. Books and fanfiction. I figure that reading will help me with my writing, which is really what I want to do when I reach that elusive point of "growing up". Fantasy and fiction is my genre of choice. In the world of books, I like "Harry Potter", "Lord of the Rings", and the Disc World series.

I like words, too. Weird words. And random bits of trivia, both of which stem off of the joy I get from learning things. I don't really want to do anything with the things I know, I just get a happy feeling from knowing that I know things. I'm like a knowledge magpie - 'ooh, shiny! Must have!'

I've also developed a fondness for anime and manga over the years. It sort of depends on my mood which one I want to read. I own a couple of manga that are actually in Japanese, and I can sort of figure them out.

Also, I'm into comics now, Specifically "Young Avengers", although "Runaways" has sort of sneaked up on me and whacked me alongside the head. Also, I somehow got sucked in to the the wonderful world of Booster Gold and Blue Beetle, even if Ted is they're both Ted is dead.

I like to sing. I can go up and sing in front of people, no problem. I've been taking voice lessons for...I think nine years? Well, I've been taking them for a long time. Then I went to college and I haven't started taking them again. Boo-sticks.

I took guitar for a few years. I can play two songs at the right speed and sing along with them, so long as I don't have to do any struming.

I practiced Oom Yung Doe for four years. My favorite weapon is the Jong Bong, or long staff. I have not yet hit myself alongside the head with it, like I did with the Chu-Chuck-Bope. Alas, I have been a lazy-butt and haven't kept the martial arts up in college. Woe.

I like being by myself. If I could have internet access, I'd probably go and become a hermit somewhere.

My friends are all absolutely crazy, which is good because I am too.

I laugh often and I laugh hard and I enjoy every second of it. What you see is what you get and I refuse to apologize for it.
